(USA) Lynn Steele was born in 1944 in Kansas City KS. Lynn was a doctoral candidate in economics at the University of Kansas when he was drafted in September 1968. He completed basic training at Ft Leonard Wood MO, and then went to Ft Sill OK for artillery training. Lynn arrived in Vietnam in March 1969 and served with C Battery, 7th Bn, 13th Artillery until October 1969 when he moved to B Battery in the same battalion. He spent most of his tour in the Qui Nhon area, and worked chiefly in fire direction control. Lynn returned to the US and developed a career in managing the finances of social welfare agencies in Kansas.
