General Note / OCR

'Editorial, 'We're doing pretty good at keeping our stories straight - keeping our Vietnamese straight is another matter.'
- Alexander S. Cochran, Jr., 'The Tragic Commander' One of the finest fighting men of World War II and a soldier's soldier, Creighton Abrams had the difficult task of withdrawing the US military from Vietnam.
- Richard Hunt, 'The War America Would Win' An internal and an external war raged simultaneously in Vietnam. The internal war against the Viet Cong was won, but in the end the external war against North Vietnam proved decisive.
- Donald Wharton, 'Invasion Repelled' The North Vietnamese Army thought it could just march south across the DMZ. Brigadier General Lowell English's Marine Task Force had other ideas.
- Dale Andrade, 'Tigers, Blue Dragons and White Horses' The second largest Allied contingent in the war, the soldiers and marines of the Republic of Korea's two infantry divisions and marine brigade were a fiercesome fighting force.
- David A. Johns
