Poster entitled Va Co (Flag). The poster is of a Vietnamese woman bent over sewing the yellow and red stripped flag of the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam). A poem by Nguyen Thi Xuan Loc is written at the bottom. The poem is a a woman in Hue who is waiting for her husband to return from battle. While she waits she reapirs a flag, not knowing that her husband has fallen at the battle of Hue. The name Nguyen Ngoc Hanh is printed below the picture of the woman and the flag and is printed in gold across the bottom of the image. It is either the name of the photographer or the woman in the photo. The poster measures 23 inches in length by 17 1/2 inches in width.
