General Note / OCR

Embroidered Thai silk kept in a box labeled Tran Vai Lua. The blue silk is taped to and framed by white matting paper. The textile measures 14 1/4 inches in length by 14 3/8 inches in width. The image depicted is of three figures, one large white female, one small gold, and one small white figuresstanding between two trees. The large female is carrying a pole across her shoulders with a basket on each end containing fruits and vegetables and other items. The tree on the left has green leaves, white blossoms with large red centers, and a small red bird. The tree on the right has large red blossoms etched in white, and two large birds. One bird is perched on the branch looking at the figures and has a green body, a black head, and wings of gold and black with red spots. The other bird has a red and green head, a black body, green and red wings, and is reaching back to clean its wing.
