General Note / OCR

Embroidered Thai silk kept in a box labeled Tran Vai Lua. The brown silk is taped to and framed by white matting paper. The textile measures 14 1/4 inches in length by 14 3/8 inches in width. The image depicted is of two figures, one green and one white, and a chariot pulled by a gold horse with red markings. The white figure has green circular markings and is riding the horse and clutching with both hands a three pronged spear. The green figure is leaning forward over the white figure, with its right leg bent, turned out, and raised up on the back of the chariot; while its left leg is straight and planted down on the chariot's axle. The green figure's left arm is straight and parallell over the white figure's head, and is holding a bow; while the right arm is raised, bent at the elbow, with the hand turned out and palm up. Standing upright behind the green figure are two large spears with circular shields
