This collection consists of U.S. Army Newspapers from 1967, a CD Rom with Daily Staff Journals from the 3rd Battalion, 39th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, January 1967 to July 1969, and 17 audio reels of letters home and recorded music. The majority of the newspapers are from Ninth Infantry Division, The Old Reliable, but also included are issues from Pacific Stars and Stripes, The Observer, and The Army Reporter.

The collection also includes less than a quarter of a linear foot of textual records documenting the April 22, 1967 shoot down of a B-57 flown by Earl Eastabrooks and Major James E. Oxley that resulted in the death of Major Oxley. The materials include correspondence, articles, a biography of Major Oxley, images, and obituaries for Earl Eastabrooks. These materials are dated 1996, 2006, 2008, and 2011.

Film, audio, still image, artifacts, and manuscripts document Darryl Skuce's service and experiences on Swift Boats on the rivers and canals of South Vietnam from 1967 through his wounding on August 13, 1969. A narrative of Skuce's military biography describes his service in the United States Navy. Artifacts include a captured Viet Cong flag that was damaged when the crew of the boat Skuce was aboard detonated a mine in a canal. A photograph of the mine is included. A cassette tape contains common, every-day radio traffic from operations on PCF 43, which was destroyed in February 1969. Film footage shows Skuce's journey to Vietnam and what he saw from his position as a gunner on board PCF 71. Letters home from Skuce and an original poem describe how he felt during his service. Also included are six medals and service ribbons awarded to Skuce, including a Purple Heart for wounds he received while in action in August, 1969.

Approximately eleven linear feet of 164 three-quarter inch U-Matic video tapes of the television program, entitled 'Veterans Issues and Answers', documents an array of veteran's issues. The videos are placed in the order in which they aired, October 27, 1991 through May 31, 1999, and include titles such as 'N.J. Vietnam Veterans Memorial', 'N.J. Agent Orange Commission', 'National League of Families for POW/MIA's', 'Dedication of the Vietnam Women's Memorial', 'Agent Orange- The Silent Killer', 'Suing the CIA - The Abandonment of American POWs', and 'Men of the Intrepid'. The tapes are in poor condition and will be digitized to help for preservation.

Less than one linear foot of artifacts, Sim's manuscript and published book edition of ^D'Ambush: Memories and Photos of a Combat Squad Leader^D>', twelve photographs, correspondence and photocopied North Vietnamese propaganda leaflets document Allen W. Sims service during the Vietnam Conflict, 1969-1970. The photocopied leaflets are from a portion of the Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Kiev, Ukraine which documents Ukraine's involvement in the Vietnam Conflict. An English translation of the leaflets is also included and was translated by Suong Ives, who escaped from Vietnam after the Communist takeover and has lived in the United States for over 25 years.

Garth, Province Reports from Advisory Team 90 in Tay Ninh Province, the After Action Report from Operation Katum, and a history of the 273rd VC Regiment. The documents date from 1970 through 1973.

Approximately two and a half linear feet of artifacts from Steve Sullivan's tour in Vietnam from 1967-1968 where he flew UH1-C gunships with the 57th Assault Helicopter Company in Kom Tum. The collection contains a flight suit, fatigue pants, four patches, military issue towel, compass case, sunglasses, decorated helicopter flight helmet and carrying bag, an MB-4A Computer Air Navigation tool and plasticized DOD evasion chart of Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam. The collection also contains a US Army pack sack, black hammock, black shirt, and canteen with a bullet hole, which were taken from North Vietnamese soldiers who attacked the base while Sullivan was there.
