Approximately two linear feet of slides, audio cassette tapes, transcripts, and artifacts document Anne Scahill's service with the Vietnam Christian Service, a non-governmental organization, from April 1970 through April 1973. Many of the audio tapes contain Anne Scahill's explanations of her slide collections, the item numbers of which will be displayed at the end of the slide explanations in the Separated Materials section of this finding aid. Transcripts of some of the audio tapes are also available in the Inventory section. The audio tapes and transcriptions date from both the war and post-war periods, while the artifacts and slides all date from only the war era. The materials are in fair to good shape.

One DVD-ROM of scanned and transcribed military reports and personal photographs documents the operations of multiple divisions during the Vietnam Conflict. Reports were compiled by Don Smith and include After Action Reports, Daily Staff Journals, and various others and include the following divisions: 1st Cavalry Division, 23rd Infantry Division, 25th Infantry Division, 101st Airborne Division, and the 199th Light Infantry Brigade (199th LIB). One CD-ROM of 1:50,000 maps of wartime areas in Vietnam such as Saigon, Bien Hoa, and Quang Ngai.

This collection contains one CD-ROM. The contents of the CD are transcribed copies of diary entries made by Sylvester while serving two tours in Vietnam. The first tour was from March 9, 1964 through February 25, 1965, and describes Sylvester's involvement with the 57th Medical Detachment (helicopter ambulance). Sylvester's second tour was from July 4, 1970 to June 28, 1971, when he served with the 54th Medical Detachment (air ambulance). One of the highlights of the diary is Sylvesters participation in Operation Lam Son 719 in the spring of 1971. Along with day-to-day accounts of Sylvester's activities in Vietnam are Lessons Learned, an After-action Report, and additional statistics from Lam Son 719.

This collection consists of U.S. Army Newspapers from 1967, a CD Rom with Daily Staff Journals from the 3rd Battalion, 39th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, January 1967 to July 1969, and 17 audio reels of letters home and recorded music. The majority of the newspapers are from Ninth Infantry Division, The Old Reliable, but also included are issues from Pacific Stars and Stripes, The Observer, and The Army Reporter.

The collection also includes less than a quarter of a linear foot of textual records documenting the April 22, 1967 shoot down of a B-57 flown by Earl Eastabrooks and Major James E. Oxley that resulted in the death of Major Oxley. The materials include correspondence, articles, a biography of Major Oxley, images, and obituaries for Earl Eastabrooks. These materials are dated 1996, 2006, 2008, and 2011.
