The correspondence section is broken up into the following sections: Vietnam War In Memory Memorial, Inc., Congressional (1955-1999), Commission of Fine Arts (1995-1996), Fallen Warriors Foundation, and correspondence with Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt, Jr. and actor Gary Sinise. Most materials are in good condition.

Less than one linear foot of two 8mm film reels, one audio cassette tape with narration to the films by Roy Fox, and a VHS tape that contains the footage of the reels plus the narration combined document Fox's time in Vietnam while he worked for Quinton Bud Long Engineers, training and supervising teams to drill for water wells and install water systems for the United States Army, 1970 - 1971. The VHS tape was made by Darryl Henley after Fox provided the narration for the films in 1993.

The collection consists of photographs, negatives, slides, documents, correspondence, and electronic media donated by Gary Ferguson. The material documents Gary Ferguson and his family's time spent working in refugee camps throughout Southeast Asia from April 1979 to the spring of 1982. Many of the materials document the camp of Ban Mak Mun located in Cambodia. This camp was the home of Khmer Serei soldiers, who were native anti-communist soldiers fighting against the Khmer Rouge
regime. There are also letters from refugees to the Ferguson family asking for help immigrating to the United States, and material related to Gary Ferguson's service in the U.S. Navy in the 1960's.
