The VHS tape was made by Darryl Henley after Fox provided the narration for the films in 1993.

Correspondence includes letters written to and from Fagan while in Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, Advance Individual Training and Officer Candidate School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and while serving in Vietnam from June 1969-June 1970. Three CD ROMs contain digitized photographs and documents depicting Neal Fagan's tour-of-duty in Vietnam including images of Fagan's arrival in Vietnam and his assignments in the Central Highlands, including An Khe, Pleiku, Dak-To, and Ben Het. The correspondence section is broken up into the following sections: Vietnam War In Memory Memorial, Inc., Congressional (1955-1999), Commission of Fine Arts (1995-1996), Fallen Warriors Foundation, and correspondence with Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt, Jr. and actor Gary Sinise. Most materials are in good condition.

This collection consists of 24 recorded letters from Dale Fillmore to his family during his two tours in Vietnam, 1967-1968 (Co. B, 229th Battalion (Assault Helicopter)) and 1970-1971 (242nd Aviation Company). The collection also contains approximately 1.5 linear feet of slides and letters home donated by Dale Fillmore. The letters were written during Fillmore's army basic training at Fort Polk, primary helicopter school at Fort Wolters, advanced helicopter school at Fort Rucker, and two tours of Vietnam. The materials are dated 1966-1971.

The collection consists of two DVDs containing digitized film footage originally captured by Larry Fann with a Brownie Super 8mm camera during his military service. The first DVD contains three film clips. The first film is of rotary wing Warrant Officer Candidate and Flight Training for WOC Class 69-25 of which Fann was a member. The film covers Pre-flight, Phase I, and Phase II training at Fort Wolters, TX between November 1968 and April 1969. The second film covers Phase III and Phase IV training and graduation for WOC Class 69-25 at Fort Rucker, AL between April 1969 and August 26, 1969. The third film covers Fann's CH-47 (Chinook) Transition training, Class 70-6, which Fann attended as a WO-1 between September 1969 and October 1969.

The second DVD contains a film clip consisting of footage from Fann's time in Vietnam with the 147th Assault Support Helicopter Company, call sign Hillclimbers, from November 1969 to May 1971.
