Mini DV contains a compilation of film taken by Ron Milam in the Central Highlands of Vietnam during his tour of duty as an advisor to the ARVN in 1971 and film taken by Milam during his return trip to the Central Highlands with his wife in 2001. The films compare and contrast the differences in the Central Highlands between 1971 and 2001. The mini DV also contains footage of Milam and his wife's visit to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Angel Fire, New Mexico.
