A hat, a red bag with the text 'minh hanh', and four Vietnamese childrens' shirts. Nguyen Thi Xuan Phuong made the four shirts for her sons from disassembled fragments of her shirts and damaged blankets. She kept the shirts throughout the war and the post-war period, even when she could have exchanged them for extra rations during the evacuation of Hanoi. The six museum objects were donated by her grandson, Nguyen Minh.

Less than one linear foot of photograph negatives, maps, CD-ROMs, audio reels, published articles, correspondence and other documents detail General Theodore Mataxis, Sr.'s service in Vietnam, 1964-1965. Documents include articles written by Mataxis on the war in the highlands and Tet 1965, a transcript of an interview with Mataxis conducted by Captain Cash of the US Army Center for Military History at the Pentagon in 1967 and a letter from a company political cadre to a battalion political officer, which was found on a Viet Cong soldier. Documents date from 1960s through 1990s. Negatives and audio reels date 1964-1965.

Approximately four linear feet of slides and documents donated to the archive by Mike McDermott. The documents include a manuscript written by Mike McDermott titled 'Welcome to Team 162 and the Vietnamese Airborne Division' documents McDermott's service in Vietnam in 1972, including his role in the Battle of An Loc during the Easter Offensive. The slides show major cities like Hue and Saigon, military equipment like various models of helicopter, artillery pieces and weapons, aerial photographs of Vietnam, images of Camp Eagle, patrolling in the jungle, a Christmas mass service, medcap missions, montagnards, and various cities visited by McDermott during his R&R. The slides date from 1967 through 1972.
