It is not necessary to enter information in every search field. Begin by using the first Keyword/Item Number search field. Then use the other search fields, as well as the options in the right column, to narrow your search results.
Between the Keyword/Item Number search files are three Boolean search term combiners: And, Or, Not. Use these buttons to combine the terms in the Keyword/Item Number search fields they are located between.
Use quotation marks around phrases to search for that phrase, instead of just the terms in the phrase. Phrases without quotation marks search for all the words of the phrase.
Use the options in the left column to narrow your search to specific types of media or languages, or to eliminate items that are not available online, or to newer records in the database.
