Worth, TX, in 2001. In addition, this collection contains of a record album consists of Bob Hopes' recorded comedic performances at U.S. military bases in Thailand, Guam, Okinawa, Vietnam, etc. It features Janis Paige, Anita Bryant, Jerry Colonna, as well as Jill St. John as a special guest star and Alex Dreier as a narrator. This album was recorded in 1964 and distributed by PYE RECORDS in 1965.

Excerpt from the Spring 2008 edition of the Town of Coventry Newsletter announces the dedication of the Connecticut Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Approximately half a linear foot of articles, books, clippings, DVDs, and a periodical donated to the Vietnam Archive by Joseph Potter concerning a variety of topics including the war in Laos and the plight of the Hmong after the war. Artifacts and a military report document the military service and death in North Vietnam in 1967 of Major Frederick Joseph Wozniak (US Air Force). Artifacts include an Air Force uniform dress coat and liner, two flight suits, a blue dress uniform, flight jacket, dress uniform insignia (Lieutenant's bars, U.S. pins, and wings), short white formal jacket, two caps, a beret, and three hats. The military report, published in November 2003 by the Joint POW / MIA Accounting Command and titled 'Casualty Data Report Case 0570, RF - 4C Crash Site, Ha Tay Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam,' documents the investigation of the disappearance of Major Wozniak over North Vietnam in 1967. It also documents the recovery and identification of his remains in 1995. The report also includes copies of documents relative to the case, photographs, maps, and explanations of and conclusions drawn from evidence collected at Wozniak's crash site. The report was given to the Wozniak family.

The collection also includes a memoir written by Polifka discussing his first tour as a Forward Air Controller in Vietnam and as a Raven in Laos.

Approximately seven and a half linear feet of books, photographs, slides, museum objects, film, audio, periodicals, microfilm, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, journals, studies, oral history transcripts, and official military materials document a broad range of topics related to Operation Ranch Hand, the Ranch Hand Association and issues related to herbicidal usage during the Vietnam Conflict. Topics include support for and against the use of herbicides, studies conducted on the use of herbicides, lawsuits against its use, Veterans Administration treatment of Vietnam Veterans, their objections with the United States government and chemical and germ warfare.

Materials of interest in this collection are the DAAR Reports, or Daily Air Activity Reports for Operation Ranchhand. These daily reports show the map coordinates of spray missions, the type of agent used, number of gallons sprayed, number of hits the spray aircraft sustained during the mission and grid coordinates of the enemy fire, flying conditions experienced during the mission, and if the mission was aborted the reason(s) why. The units mentioned in the report are the: 309th Air Command Squadron, 315th Air Commando Group, 12th Airborne Command and Control Squadron, and the 12th Special Operations Squadron. Also included with the reports are handwritten notes.

Materials in this collection date from 1960 to the present and are primarily organized in their original order.

The documents date from 1952 through 1967, with the bulk being from 1962 through 1967, and include information on South Vietnamese provinces; the structure of the South Vietnamese government; and papers on pacification, rural development, and the Viet Cong.
