A diary kept by Sam Pfiester documents his service as an advisor to the Vietnamese Junk Force, 1970 - 1971 and a Mini DV contains discussions filmed in Vietnam by Sam Pfiester between General Pham Xuan An, Dr. James Reckner (Director of the Vietnam Center), Steve Maxner (Associate Director of the Vietnam Archive), Mary Saffell (Archivist of the Vietnam Archive) and graduate students from Texas Tech University on 2 July 2004.

Less than one linear foot of documents, and research material regarding Malaysia, strategic hamlets, and Vietnamese villages from Peoples' Master of Arts thesis, camcorder video tapes, maps, books, negatives from a trip to Vietnam made by Peoples in 2000, 2 CD-ROMs (173rd Infantry Brigade Reunion and a recorded radio transmission from a helicopter in Vietnam in 1967), artifacts (shoulder insignia), and a program from 173rd Airborne Brigade Reunion in Ft. Worth, TX, in 2001. In addition, this collection contains of a record album consists of Bob Hopes' recorded comedic performances at U.S. military bases in Thailand, Guam, Okinawa, Vietnam, etc. It features Janis Paige, Anita Bryant, Jerry Colonna, as well as Jill St. John as a special guest star and Alex Dreier as a narrator. This album was recorded in 1964 and distributed by PYE RECORDS in 1965.

General William C. Westmoreland's Brigadier General's 'Quarters Flag' and a copy of Survivors: Vietnam POWs Tell Their Stories by Zalin Grant (1975, 1994) comprise the Potter collection. Excerpt from the Spring 2008 edition of the Town of Coventry Newsletter announces the dedication of the Connecticut Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Approximately half a linear foot of articles, books, clippings, DVDs, and a periodical donated to the Vietnam Archive by Joseph Potter concerning a variety of topics including the war in Laos and the plight of the Hmong after the war. The collection also includes The Forward Air Controllers Association FAC History Book (May 2004).

Artifacts and a military report document the military service and death in North Vietnam in 1967 of Major Frederick Joseph Wozniak (US Air Force). Artifacts include an Air Force uniform dress coat and liner, two flight suits, a blue dress uniform, flight jacket, dress uniform insignia (Lieutenant's bars, U.S. pins, and wings), short white formal jacket, two caps, a beret, and three hats. The military report, published in November 2003 by the Joint POW / MIA Accounting Command and titled 'Casualty Data Report Case 0570, RF - 4C Crash Site, Ha Tay Province, Socialist Republic of Vietnam,' documents the investigation of the disappearance of Major Wozniak over North Vietnam in 1967. It also documents the recovery and identification of his remains in 1995. The report also includes copies of documents relative to the case, photographs, maps, and explanations of and conclusions drawn from evidence collected at Wozniak's crash site. The report was given to the Wozniak family.

Flak jacket worn by Robert E. Potts during his tour of duty in Vietnam with the Seabees. The flak jacket saved Potts' life in October 1969 in downtown Saigon when a Vietnamese riding a Honda motorcycle threw a fragmentation grenade into the back of the pick-up truck Potts was driving.

Approximately one and a half linear feet of books, Vietnamese periodicals, Vietnamese language publications and articles, Vietnamese Communist Party documents, and English translations of these publications on CD-ROM translated by Merle Pribbenow document his interest in and collection and translations of Vietnamese Communist periodicals and documents. The CD-ROM contains Pribbenow's translations of most of the articles and documents within his manuscript collection. Materials date from both the war and post-war period and are in fair to good shape. rticles written in the 13 and 15 editions of Quan Doi Nhan Dan translated by Merle Pribbenow concern the North Vietnamese perspective on the Plei Me Campaign and the Battle of the Ia Drang Valley from 19 October to 20 November 1965.
