Also included are Hagopian's hand written field notes used while conducting research at the various sites, and copies of visitor questionnaires and interviews conducted by Hagopian while at the memorials. The smaller files contain clippings, correspondence, and information that Hagopian collected about numerous other memorials throughout the country, but which were in most instances not featured in the book. A few of the files also include examples of other memorials commemorating the American Civil War and the Persian Gulf War. The materials are dated 1969-2006, predominately 1980-2006.
