Over one linear foot of manuscripts written by Bill McCarron, as well as photographs, artifacts, books, military ephemeral material, college course material, Communist currency, a Chieu Hoi leaflet, and a map of Vietnam document his life and service in the United States Air Force an adviser to the Vietnamese Air Force at Binh Thuy Air Base, 1969-1970 and his subsequent career as a Professor of English at the United States Air Force Academy, 1972-1987 and at Texas A&M-Commerce, 1987-2006. Highlighted in the collection is a copy of MaCarron's book, 'Then and Since: Perspectives on Vietnam' and a manuscript copy of his book, 'Beneath the Red, White, and Blue.'
