- America's Mandarin, 1954 - 1963, examines the political rise and eventual assassination of Ngo Dinh Diem. Also looks at the Geneva Convention that divided Vietnam along the 17th parallel, and the efforts of Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge. LBJ Goes to War, 1964 - 1965, examines the ascendency of LBJ to the office of President as well as the Gulf of Tonkin Incident. Also examines the initial landing of the US Marines in Da Nang.
