16 Jan 1968 - arrived RVN, landed at Camp Evans, Thua Thien Province in relief of 9th Marines ;
26 Jan 1968 - relieved by U.S. Army Brigade of 1st Cavalry Division ;
27 Jan 1968 - commitment ashore for Operation FORTRESS ATTACK, helilifted to Cam Lo area; Operation KENTUCKY; and Operation LANCASTER, vic Camp Carroll ;
