General Note
This tape of a Vietnamese girl singing was taped by Stewart Barbee in October 1969 in Saigon, Vietnam. The girl was in her early teens and always wore her traditional Vietnamese clothes. When she would sing, another Vietnamese girl would loosely translate the songs. The tape was recorded with a Nagra III. These two audio-cassette tapes were created from the original by Barbee in 1998, which was the first time that he had listened to the tape since its original recording.
