General Note
On 29 September 1970 I was a medical attendant for patients being transported from 91st Evacuation Hospital, Chu Lai to Japan. After delivering the patients to a hospital near Tokyo, I returned to Chu Lai, Vietnam via Clark Air Force Base in the Phillipine Islands and Cam Ranh Bay. I was wearing Army khaki uniform when the return flight stopped at Clark Air Force Base in the Phillipines. I remember the mural in the airport of the natives killing Magellan. The airport was air-conditioned, must have been in the 60's I got so cold I had to get outside to warm up during the middle of fthe night lay-over before returning to Vietnam.
