General Note
Battalion aid station at Charlie 2, between village of Cam Lo and Alpha 4 [Con Thien], Quang Tri Province, South Vietnam. The aid station was on north side of Charlie 2, near north gate for road to Alpha 4 [Con Thien]. Unknown 2nd lieutenant, possibly with 1/61 Infantry Battalion, 1/5 Infantry Brigade [Mech], seated on battalion aid station deck. The medical aid station was remodeled between mid January 1970 and April 1970. (Note: 1st Lt. Paul L. Sauer, Army Medical Service Corps, 1/77 Armored Battalion, 1/5 Infantry Brigade [Mech] made black and white photograph of this aid station after it was remodeled and reinforced with concrete roof and timbers, between January and July 1970).
