General Note
DVD copy from the American Experience titled Two Days in October is based on They Marched into Sunlight , a book by David Maraniss, and documents two events in October 1967: a Viet Cong ambush of an American battalion in Vietnam that resulted in the deaths of 61 American soldiers and a student protest against Dow Chemical at the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus that turned violent. The documentary was produced and directed by Robert Kenner.

Neal Ulevich appears in the footage twice at the student protest because he was a student working part-time for the Associated Press and was present to cover the sit-in.
