General Note
Part of the ritual for events or guest, is the sharing of rice wine. Rice is fermented in the clay pots. They are topped of with grass, with a hollow reed extending to the bottom. Notice the stick across the top of the jug. It has a protrusion on its underside. Each guest is expected to drink from the reed. However, it should not be a polite taste. It is expected that enough volume is consumed to lower the level so that the full extent of the protrusion is exposed. Notice the coffee can to the lower left of the scene. This is used to replenish the water level in preparation for the next participant.
