General Note
Raymond L. Fisher discusses his experiences in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Fisher served in the U.S. Army as part of Detachment 1 Stratcom in Udorn, Thailand (Sept. 1964-Nov. 1965), and in Bangkok, Thailand (Nov.1965-Apr. 1966). He then served in Nha Trang, Vietnam, with the 213th Signal Detachment, 1st Signal Brigade (May-Oct. 1966), and returned to Vietnam to serve with the 723rd Maintenance Battalion in support of the 23rd (Americal) Division (Oct. 1967-Oct.1968). He later served with the 558th Supply and Service Battalion in Kanchanaburi, Thailand (Dec. 1968-July 1969), and finished his time in Southeast Asia with the 379th Signal Battalion in Samae San, Thailand (July 1969-Nov. 1970).
