Some Conclusions

Through the millennia of their history of the Vietnamese have often had to defend themselves against aggression coming from states far more powerful than themselves. They had to rely on the art of “fighting the strong by the weak”, David versus Goliath, the art of “defeating the many by the few”. Through the great battles which took place one century after another the reader will get an idea of what traditional military art in Vietnam was like.
