General Note: Capt. James B. [Jim] Evans, Army Medical Corps, 91st Evacuation Hospital, Chu Lai, June to October 1970. TDY with Americal Division units at Kham Duc between 02 and 14 August 1970

Col. John Buesseler, reserve Army Medical Corps, flew into Kham Duc late one evening on a helicopter. The purpose of the visit was researching delivery of medical care in the field. Dr. Buesseler was later dean of the medical school at Lubbock, Texas.
