General Note
Soldier at Kham Duc opening sundry packs [SP] and C-rations. Sundry packs contained cigarettes, candy, stationery, sewing kits and chewing tobacco: SPs were valued at $75, but were frequently sold on black market for several times that value. He is also rifling boxes of C-rations looking for the few edible items in the box. The soldiers particularly liked the canned peaches and cake. The C-rations also contained small tins of very thick peanut butter, definitely not Skippy's peanut butter
