General Note: Acting Chief Advisors for the Vietnam Project Lloyd Musolf and Guy Fox correspond with Secretary of State at the Presidency Nguyen Dinh Thuan from March to July, 1961. They discuss the development of the national identification program, Musolf's upcoming absence from the program, American personnel in Vietnam, new employees with the program, and faculty visits to Vietnam. Many of the letters are accompanied by Vietnamese translations.
