- General Note
- A committee of personnel connected with the Panama Canal create a publication by the title, "Living and Working in the Canal Zone." The pamphlet includes maps of Panama and the world, as well as photographs of the various sections of the canal, administration buildings, ships of different nations, dredging activities, street and building views in Balboa, and local celebrations. The pamphlet itself is filled with, "information for the orientation of U.S.-citizen employees of the Panama Canal Company and the Canal Zone Government."
