General Note: Jack Ryan of the Michigan State University Vietnam Advisory Group's Police Administration Division sends a photograph to the head of the division, Arthur Brandstatter. The photograph shows a river scene, with cars parked off the road on the left and people, one with a horse, doing chores in the river. Ryan's caption on the back of the photograph reads, "The Dau Mot - 25 miles from Saigon. People washing trucks, clothes, horse, & selves in river - no other means available! Nov. 1955"
