- General Note
- Chief of the Police Administration Division of MSUG Ralph Turner corresponds with Director Arthur Brandstatter of the MSU School of Police Administration and Public Safety from October to November, 1960. They discuss Turner's recent visit to Taipei, transferal of duties to and relations with USOM, problems and progress in the training program, security issues with increased Viet Cong attacks, training participants' impressions of their work, and Brandstatter's recent surgery. Two of the largest topics are USOM's role in Vietnam and consolidation of the police force.
