General Note: Deputy Advisor for the Michigan State University Vietnam Advisory Group's Police Administration Division Howard Hoyt submits a monthly report to the Chief Advisor for May, 1957. The report discusses personnel recruitment and placements, general training courses and progress of units, equipment and building needs, field trips and inspections, ongoing studies and reviews, Civil Guard administration and training, administration at the Vietnamese Bureau of Investigation and the Municipal police, visiting personnel and officials, traffic reforms, progress in the Identification Bureau and the fingerprint division, and general administration.
