General Note: Chief Howard Hoyt of the MSUG Police Administration Division turns in three internal security reports to Leland Barrows, Director of USOM, between January and April, 1958. The reports cover week or two-week long periods and discuss general internal security, such as issues recent violence, killings, kidnappings, security incidents in the provinces, field trips and surveys, actions of the Self-Defense Corps and the Civil Guard, and recent Viet-Cong arrests and general criminal activity.
