General Note: Personnel with the Michigan State University Vietnam Advisory Group's Police Administration Division author a report on the establishment of a scientific crime detection laboratory. The report begins with a summary and explanation of the division's methodology, then goes in to current and proposed procedures, existing and proposed facilities and equipment, coordination with other law enforcement units, personnel selection and training, and suggested phasing of the program. A series of photographs is included of the old detention center and its renovation into a laboratory.
