General Note: Chief Advisor for the Michigan State University Vietnam Advisory Group Wesley Fishel sends in monthly reports to MSU and USOM from February to December, 1957. For the Police Division, the reports discuss training, the Civil Guard, the Municipal Police, the Identification Section, and the Vietnamese Bureau of Investigation. For the Field Administration Division, the reports discuss the National Economy, civic action, the function publique, and the Departments of Interior, Finance, and Education. Agrarian reform, tribal administration, the National Institute of Administration, and In-Service Training are also discussed monthly.
