- General Note
- A memorandum from Ralph H. Smuckler, Chief Advisor to the Michigan State University Group (MSUG), to Stanley K. Sheinbaum, MSUG's Coordinator. Smuckler comments on the recent MSU visit of Arthur Z. Gardiner, Chief of Mission to the United States Operations Mission (USOM) in Saigon. Gardiner had positive things to say about Sheinbaum's handling of the Group's budget, and spoke with Glen Taggart and Stanley Sheinbaum about ideas he had regarding highland resettlement. Taggart forwarded the memorandum to MSU president John A. Hannah.
