General Note: MSU president Hannah writes to Lloyd Musolf regarding disparaging comments he had heard about developments in Vietnam, and the lack of appreciation by U.S. representatives of MSU's Vietnam Project. Hannah suggests to Musolf that Wesley Fishel be sent to South Vietnam, in an unofficial capacity, to provide counsel to South Vietnamese president Ngo Dinh Diem. Hannah concludes his letter by acknowledging complimentary reports he has heard of Musolf's work, and Musolf writes a November 7, 1960 reply.
