- Ruben Austin, Assistant Dean of the College of Business and Public Service, writes to MSU president Hannah regarding a discussion he had with Gustav Hertz about the possibility of extending an invitation to Arthur Gardiner, Director of the United States Operations Mission (USOM) in Saigon, to visit the campus of MSU while visiting in the states. Austin shared the news, and the memo, with Deans Seelye and Taggart.
