- Lloyd Musolf, Chief Advisor to the Michigan State University Group (MSUG), writes to MSU president Hannah about events that occurred in Saigon since Hannah's early 1961 visit there. Topics include talks with president Diem's Secretary of State, Nguyen Dinh Thuan, about continued police group administration and training under a renewed MSUG contract, public information training, and the question of Musolf's replacement as Chief Advisor, Guy Fox.
