General Note: MSU president Hannah indicates to Glen Taggart, Dean of International Programs, that he has just finished reading a report from Joseph LaPalombara, Head of the Political Science Department at MSU, and expresses some concern with comments made regarding MSU insisting that changes be made within the government of Vietnam before an agreement is made to cooperate there. Hannah points out that MSU personnel are there as guests, and should not focus on trying to change their political system.
