General Note
Wall Street Journal reporter Louis Kraar reports on American aid to Vietnam, in an effort to prevent their government from falling to Communism. MSU economist Frank Child suggests that South Vietnam's struggling economy may be due to a lack of capital for commercial and manufacturing ventures. Kraar also writes about president Ngo Dinh Diem's effort to improve his image by hiring an American public relations firm.
