General Note: MSU Professor of Economics Milton Taylor writes to President Hannah about the deteriorating situation in Vietnam, despite sizable American aid. Taylor includes two articles with the memo: one he co-authored with Adrian Jaffe, another member of the MSU faculty, entitled "A Crumbling Bastion: Flattery and Lies Won't Save Vietnam"; the other by Jerry Rose, correspondent with the Time-Life bureau in Saigon, entitled "The Fading Strength of Vietnam". Taylor concludes the memo by asking President Hannah if the Michigan State University Group (MSUG) has been honest with itself, with him, and with the American people.
