General Note: Wesley Fishel, former Michigan State University Group (MSUG) Chief Advisor, writes to MSU President John Hannah from Burma, after having spent four weeks in Saigon. For the first time, Fishel is openly pessimistic about the future of the Vietnamese Government. Fishel offers to Hannah his opinion on South Vietnam President Diem's decision to end the MSUG contract, what influence Diem might have had to come to that decision, and his own views on the people working with Diem.
