General Note: Guy Fox refers to a February 15, 1962 memorandum which described a meeting between himself, Alfred Seelye, and Vietnam Secretary of State Nguyen Dinh Thuan. Fox explains to MSU President Hannah that, although the meeting was cordial, Thuan relayed President Diem's hurt feelings towards articles by MSU Professors Milton Taylor and Frank Child, after having returned to East Lansing from Saigon. Fox goes into further details about other people Seelye met during his recent visit to Saigon.
