- General Note
- A report in publication form, submitted by Public Safety Advisor to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), William Hanscom. A Viet Cong support net smuggling medical supplies hidden in loaves of bread had been identified by First Precinct National Police after weeks of surveillance. Police arrested a suspect after he was observed leaving a house known to contain the cache of medical supplies, and boarding a bus headed for a province heavily infiltrated by the Viet Cong. Ã The suspect divulged information upon interrogation, which led to the arrests of 17 known members of the net.
