- This flyer would have been used to promote votes for Ngo Dinh Diem as he ran for president of South Vietnam. On the back of the flyer there is an English translation of the Vietnamese that it printed on the front of the flyer. The English translation states, " Vote for the noble Ngo Dinh Diem".
