General Note / OCR

A periodical published by the American Women's Association of Saigon (AWAS), this guide provided women who were intending to move to South Vietnam with useful information. The guide is broken up into four sections: Section I is an introduction to AWAS, lifestyle in Saigon, language, customs, and so on; Section II is a directory of embassies and government agencies, and provides addresses for dressmakers, tailors, embroidery, etc.; Section III has address information for entertainment venues; Section IV provides a brief financial report, and gives useful information on fund raising, household loans of essential domestic goods, glass rentals for cocktail parties, committees on welfare, sewing, refugees, and others.
