An image from Wesley Fishel's photograph collection of two Vietnamese men watering a crop of peanuts. The label reads, "To improve Vietnamese diets and avoid overdependence on rice, the new five-year agricultural development plan calls for increased efforts to achieve crop diversification. This Delta farmer was pleasurably surprised at the cash return from his peanut crop. (TCB-098 Photo Four, September 1971.)"
