General Note
An image from Wesley Fishel's photograph collection of a woman with a distressed look on her face holding a young child and speaking to a soldier. The two stand on a hillside. The caption at the bottom reads, "What do puppet soldiers think of these words from a farmer's wife: 'Brother, don't kill your fellow-country-men, don't burn their crops!" A label on the reverse of the image, also attached, explains that the photograph was staged by former Chief of Propaganda Bui Cong Tuong.
