Wesley Fishel responds to Senator Mike Mansfield's request for an investigation of U.S. aid to Vietnam in response to accusations from Albert Colegrove of Scripps-Howard newspapers. Fishel denies Colegrove's accusations regarding safety and the aid program. Fishel explains the current conditions in the provinces due to Communist activity, the Bien Hoa incident,the National Assembly elections, and refugee resettlement.
