General Note: This is a transcript of an interview by Oriana Fallaci of Nguyen Van Thieu. This interview took place in the morning of Saturday, December 30, 1972 at the presidential palace in Saigon. The interview was printed over a month later in The New Republic on January 10, 1973. The interview focuses on relations between the United States and the Republic of Vietnam, as well as the ongoing diplomatic initiatives between the Republic of Vietnam and communist political organizations.
